Taylor's career began on YouTube. She started creating ASMR videos using her smartphone. PewDiePie featured her in his gaming video shortly when she had 50k subscribers. This was about one and a half months after posting her first video. Taylor stopped making videos for her Youtube channel after 2 months and close to 100,000 Subscribers. This was mainly because of technical problems with the new equipment she was using, as well as her awe-inspiring popularity. Following a short break and a brief break, she began making videos. The most loved ASMR triggers was ASMR 10 Triggers to aid in falling asleep (35 million views in august 2022). In July 2017 she uploaded another very popular video ASMR 20 Triggers To Help You Sleep (38 million views as of the month of August, 2022). In August of 2017, Shane Dawson interviewed her and she soon reached one million YouTube users. Wired UK, in its February 2019 issue estimated that she earns $1,000 per month from the YouTube channel.

Helfer was born in rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer. She has German, English and Swedish descendance. She was a graduate of the Stettler's William E. Hay Composite High School. The three sisters she lives with lived on the family's grain farm. When she was 17, a modeling scout at an agency spotted Helfer when he was waiting in line for a cinema.
